Bruce Willis Set To Star In ‘First Kill’ For Emmett/Furla/Oasis

EXCLUSIVE: Bruce Willis has been set to star in First Kill, a Steven C. Miller-directed action thriller that Emmett/Furla/Oasis will produce, finance and release through its U.S. deal with Lionsgate Premiere. It’s the 11th collaboration between EFO and Willis, and the producer/financier’s fourth film with Miller. Highland Film Group is handling international. The script was written by Nick Gordon with production slated to begin late August in Cincinnati, Ohio. Willis will play a police chief who tries to solve a kidnapping, with a ticking clock. After a man and his son witness a thug shooting a bank thief while on a hunting trip, the bank robber takes the boy hostage, in order to recover the key to a locker that contains the loot from the bank heist. Randall Emmett and George Furla will produce. Trevor Matthews of Brookstreet Pictures, Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb will serve as executive producers. Tim Sullivan, Tony Callie, Ryan Black, and Nick Gordon will Co-Produce.

Emmett/Furla is about to start production next week on Gotti, with Kevin Connolly directing John Travolta as the late crime boss John Gotti. The company is also currently in post-production on the Martin Scorsese-directed Silence as well as the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Scoot McNairy starrer 478, from director Elliott Lester and producer Darren Aronofsky. Willis is repped by CAA.
